Open Access Policy

The Jambura Journal of Biomathematics (JJBM), published by the Department of Mathematics, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo, is fully committed to the principles of Open Access. We believe that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge, accelerates scientific discovery, and promotes the broad dissemination of mathematical approaches to biological phenomena.

IMMEDIATE OPEN ACCESS

JJBM provides immediate, free, and unrestricted online access to all published articles. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful non-commercial purpose without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.

COPYRIGHT AND LICENSING

All articles published in JJBM are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).

What this means for Readers and Users:

Under the terms of the CC BY-NC 4.0 license, users are free to:

  • Share: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.

  • Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material.

Under the following conditions:

  • Attribution (BY): You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.

  • NonCommercial (NC): You may not use the material for commercial purposes (i.e., primarily intended for or directed towards commercial advantage or monetary compensation).

What this means for Authors:

  • Copyright Retention: Authors retain the copyright and full publishing rights without restrictions.

  • First Publication Right: Authors grant JJBM the right of first publication of their work.

  • Reproduction: Authors are free to reproduce, distribute, and publicly display their published articles (e.g., in a thesis, compilation, or presentation), provided that the original publication in JJBM is appropriately acknowledged.

SELF ARCHIVING POLICY (GREEN OPEN ACCESS)

Authors are encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories, on personal websites, or academic networks like ResearchGate) before and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work.

Once the manuscript is published, authors may confidently share the final, published PDF version of their article, provided the original source (JJBM) and DOI are correctly cited.
